As a pet portrait artist, I’m trained to see the beauty in every animal, but it was Poppy’s heartbreaking resilience that made me stop and paint this beautiful, 2-year-old calico tabby. Through absolutely no fault of her own, Poppy found herself back at the shelter after her previous family faced an unexpected eviction. But we are thrilled to share that Poppy has now been successfully adopted and is officially in her permanent forever home! (And yes, her wonderful new family received the original painting to go with her!)
